Terms and conditions

Conditions of sale

These conditions apply to all transactions made on the site. Carrying out a transaction through this site implies unreserved acceptance by the customer of these sale conditions. Mont Vilain Outdoor Centre reserves the right to modify the sale conditions at any time and without prior notice. However, the applicable conditions to be applied are those in force at date of the transaction.

RESERVATION POLICIES AND REGULATIONS

No MINIMUM NUMBER OF NIGHT is required with your reservation.

DEPOSIT

An amount equivalent to 50% of the full amount of the reservation before taxes is required when the reservation is made. The balance is payable upon arrival. This deposit is non-refundable, but can be transferred for a future reservation depending on availability.

METHODS OF PAYMENT ACCEPTED

Cash, bank card, company check, and credit card (Visa and MasterCard) are accepted. CANCELLATION Unfortunately, no refund of the deposit will be made (unless in the event of force majeure). However, the amount already paid can be transferred for a future reservation.

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT

You must be 18 years of age or older and be present during the stay to rent a reception room or an accommodation. An identity card can be required upon check-in.

TOBACCO POLICY

It is strictly forbidden to smoke in all our accommodation units; however, you have access to your private terrace.

In case of violation of this policy, a penalty of $300 will be billed to the credit card on file.

PETS

Pets are allowed on site but must be kept on a leash at all times, and provided that you collect the excrement and that they do not disturb your neighbours by barking. In addition, before leaving, a special effort must be made towards cleaning your cabin, which means removing pet hair or any other waste. $25 fees apply for the cleaning.

MAINTENANCE

Unit maintenance is made after customers’ check-out. For more than one night stay, no daily maintenance is provided. Towels will not be replaced, but it is possible to change them during opening hours, at the reception desk, between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM. During your stay, you are in charge of the maintenance of your cabin. A penalty of $150 is applicable if the staff must wash your dishes or if excessive cleaning is needed.

When leaving, you are being asked to:

  • Take out the garbage and put it in the appropriate containers near your cabin
  • Wash and put back all the dishes used during your stay ($150 penalty)
  • Turn down all thermostats to 18 degrees Celsius.
